A production company born from equal parts passion and frustration.

Passion for live performance. Pulling inspiration from many forms of live performance DramaDon presents and produces whatever we feel like. Inspiring, fun and challenging performances will be the focus of our work.

Frustration over the lack of safety, respect and planning that should support our artists and craftspeople. DramaDon is a sandbox where we can explore a more ethical, safe and supportive environment for live event production, while providing an engaging experience for our audiences.

Projects

The Studio:

A space created for family shenanigans and industry training.

Compact lighting rig with moving lights and legacy equipment to give users a broad experience of gear and techniques for lighting production. The rig includes an ETC nomad set-up with a fader wing and a FOH lighting position that can be flown in for training and re-hang.

Intimate audio kit for reinforcement of music, spoken word and dramatic productions. Analogue console with digital eq and support offers a great training platform for beginners and a fun rig for us old timers;)

Enough room for 35 audience members, or use it as a rehearsal space. Theatre style, cabaret lay outs or just a blank canvas to create, talk to us about how to access this unique resource.
